Like many modern love stories, ours began with a swipe—but it didn't stop there. We matched on an online dating app called Bumble, where the ladies make the first move. So, with a bit of curiosity and a smiley face for good measure, the first message was sent:

"Hello :) If you had a free ticket to travel anywhere you want right now, where would it be?"

Little did we know that one simple question would spark a conversation that never really stopped.

On his dating profile, he had written: "My perfect first date: Dave and Buster's"—what better way to get to know someone than to see how much fun you can have with them?"

Challenge accepted. :)

After a few fun and laughter-filled dates we started meeting each other's friends and family. Just three weeks later, we made it official. Time flew by in a blur of inside jokes, spontaneous adventures, and the kind of quiet comfort that just feels like home.

After a year of shared adventures and growing together, we decided to take the next step and move in together. Our cozy apartment in Babylon Village quickly became a reflection of us—filled with laughter, love, and the occasional friendly debate over decor choices. It wasn't just about sharing a space; it was about building a life together, one cherished memory at a time.

Then, on September 12, 2023, everything changed. Eric got down on one knee on top of Whiteface Mountain in Lake Placid, surrounded by sweeping views and endless sky. It was breathtaking in every sense of the word. With happy tears, a heart full of love, and the easiest "yes" ever, we started the next chapter of our journey planning our dream wedding. :)
